My date is current but I am out of country, how much time I have to file for I-485

Hello, I came to India 2 years back for a job opportunity and thinking I’ll get back to US when my priority date is current. Eb2 dates have moved fast and in November bulletin my date is current. My question is until when can I file adjustment of status ? Is there a time window after your date is current that you need to file I-485?

You can only file I485 (Adjustment of Status), if you are in USA. If you are outside USA (doesn't have a status) then you cannot adjust your status (i.e. from non-immigrant to immigrant).
