I have my i-140 approved with my ex employer with PD of June2016. I am joining a new employer in April 2022 and given the fact Prevailing wage determination/recruitment/PERM etc. will easily take more than 2 years its more likely that I will miss the priority date after my new employer start GC process (typically after 1 year after joining) as the dates are moving very fast currently.
The question is is it fine to apply I-485 after more than a year when PD becomes current (I know no one would do that, but in my case I will have to wait anyways till I get my I-140 with new employer) OR there is a timeframe for i-485 to be filed after PD becomes current.
