Enquiry regarding GC EB1 category

Hi,

My L1B petition was filed 2 months after I got a promotion to a level eligible for green card consideration in EB1 category. I have got the visa stamped 5 months after getting the promotion. Should I wait for 1 yr to complete at this position in India before going to USA for EB1 consideration.
