changing employers in GC process

Hi All,

I recently got my H1b approved this year and my employer is planning to file for my GC. My only concern is will I be able to change employers in between GC process. I am just worried whether I have to start the GC process from beginning if change employers.

You need to do some digging and reading into how the GC process works. In theory, you cannot switch employers until 180 days after filing the I1485.

If you switch, the processing has to start from scratch again.
