My employer earlier filed my PERM in EB2 category without a backlog. The lawyers estimate 1-2 months for PERM to get through, and then 4-6 months for adjustment of status. In the meantime, I was given an informal notice that my employment will be terminated in 2 months. Is it unavoidable that my application will be canceled in 2 months? Is there any way I can make it my personal application, such as if PERM goes through before my employment is terminated? Very upset. Please advise.
