EB2 or EB3 ??????

Hello,
Recently I extant my H1-visa up to 2012. Now I ready to do GC process.
I'm a bachelor degree holder + 6 yrs IT exp. can i apply for EB2? and whats the difference b/w EB2 & EB3? which way is good & safe. Please help me. Thanks
