Can I recap PD if I leave US for 1 year and come back?

I am in the process of GC.
My question is: once I get I-140 approved, I plan to quit my current job, leave US for studying MBA in Europe for about 1 year, then if I can find employment with a US company upon graduation, and if this company can sponsor H1B and GC for me, can I re-cap my previous priority date?

Please advice, thanks in advance!!

Hi certman,
You are getting Green Card Through Labor Certification through your present employer. So after you return from US it will be from the scratch. Option to go on leave from the present job with a reentry permit (Form I-131) is not possible.You cannot recap after return definitely.
