question regarding EB2 Eligibility

Hello,
I have 3 years bachelor degree from Canada in Computer Science. After this degree, I worked for a company for 2 years and then started working with a company in US and I have experience of 5+ years with this company and I am currently working with the same company. Is there a possibility that I can use the experience obatined with this company towards my GC to qualify for EB2 assuming that my current employer sponsors me for GC.

I am expecting a title change and the job requirement will be different than the I have currently. In this case, is it recommended to use this experience?
