Green card filing for husband and wife working in the same company

Hi,
I am my wife both are working for the same company on H1B visa. Now my company wants to file the green card for me. Do they need to file for green card separately for my wife too or her can be done as my dependent?

Its better to do so

H1B visa is valid for 6 years. After that, if you wish to continue to work, you should have filed green card before the end of 5th year. If you can get EAD/GC before your 6th year, i think filing GC for one is enough. If not, you need to file GC for both. Check with your lawyer.
