My EB2 category I-140 was approved when I was in the US on H-1B visa but now I have to change it to Consular Processing since I had go back to India. My question is - can I file the I-824 form to change from AOS to CP myself (with the help of an attorney) or does my employer need to file it on my behalf? Also, what are the documents I would need for filing I-824?

1. You can do it yourself. Your employer does not need to file that.
