My company initiated my GC process. Job summary was approved by the employer. Lawyers told me that they are waiting to secure Job Classification from DOL. It has been more than 2 months and still this shows as In Process on dol website. Lawyers said that they cannot initiate the recruitment stage till they secure job classification from DOL. Is this statement true? Is getting job classification prerequisite to initiate the recruitment process?
