I'm going for GC filing and have a tricky situation on the birth certificate front.
I have read the forum topics about alternatives but still have a question.
My situation is:
1.I don't have a birth certificate and don't have original date of birth in my records (passport, education etc). It was incorrectly entered by school authorities and continued forever.
2.My brother is a US Citizen
3.Due to the dates not being original, my birth date and my brother's birth date have only 10 months gap
4.My mother has a Green Card (father expired) but currently in India
What I plan to do:
1.Get affidavit from my mother
2.Try for Non availability and eventually the actual birth certificate (I am not sure if I can get this)
What kind of documents are recommended in this kind of situation?
