Hello,
I work here in the US on an H1-B. My company is sponsoring my greencard, and we are running into a problem. Hope someone here can help me. My salary is $A. Company started the wage determination process, DOL came back recommending salary $B(higher than A). Company appealed, and DOL came back with an even higher salary of $C. Company appealed again, and it was rejected. C is greater than A by 20K, my company is not going to give me such a big raise.
Is this something people have faced a lot? How does one deal with it? My company has used a private wage survey, they are thinking of getting another one done. Any recommended surveys out there?
