Definitely this topic will have been discussed earlier but even after reading few of the forum details I do not have a clear picture so thought of phrasing a question once again with a little history:
My Employer did start PERM process under EB3 Category as I was not able to collect all documentations of experience of 5+ years with my Indian experience. Current status is I am on seconder term of my H1B visa and status of the application is I do have approved Labor Certification and pending I-140. The title, role and responsibilities all are changed from the time the filing was done; following are my questions:
1. Can I request my employer to upgrade the filing category from EB3 to EB2 based on new role and responsibility?
2. Will it be more beneficial to change the job and have new employer file on EB2 category?
3. Does it make any difference in the processing time because I am having a Canadian Citizenship?
4. What are my other options?
Looking forward for a reply.
