PLS HELP ME-K1 and EB3 all approved at same time

My employer applied me an EB3 back in 2008 as I was still processing to get my PT License . I have not passed it yet and so I did not receieve contact email etc from my employer since end of 2008. Last 2010 I met my fiancee( a US citizen) and we filed for a K1 visa last Oct 2011. I thought that my EB 3 case was already abandoned as I have not heard from my employers since then.. We have been approved of our K1 and awaiting letter from NVC so we can schedule our appt. Yesterday I received a latter from NVC stating that my EB3 was approved and I am scheduled for interview today which I had to reschedule because I have no medical and no police clearance yet.

Pls help me i am really in a dilemma right now. What should I do? I am awaiting response from my employer regadring my interview. I have not rescheduled it yet and have been waiting letter from NV to schedule my K1

Could you please tell how you could have gotten an interview call when your EB3 was filed in 2008 ?
