GC processing at initial stage

Hi everyone, I have a question regards to the GC processing.
My employer has told me that the lawyer office has initiated the job order for me 2 months back.
So wanted to know how long this is going to take more for applying the PERM petition.Based on whcih I wish to talk to him.
