My wife and I live and work in the US on an E2 status visa. It is one that does not allow us to leave.
Our daughter is married to a citizen and she herself will be a citizen in three months.
I want to apply for GC for my wife and I.
As I see it, I need to complete form I-485 for me and one for my wife (two applications)
File for I-130, again two applications, one for each of us.
Now there are two others forms I am not sure about.
I-864 is for support from the petitioner. Since we already work here, we can support ourselves. is this form needed?
I-508 is a waive of rights, I have read conflicting reports on this. Since we are E2 holders, does this form need to be completed by each of us?
Do I have the above correct with the forms that I have to submit?
