Application for brother

Hi there!

I have a question regarding family based greencard. I am a US citizen. I want my brother (36 y.o.) to immigrate to the United States with his family. If I file a Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative for him now will he be able to visit me here (applying for visitor visa) while his case is in process? As far as I know such cases (immigration of brothers) can last up to 8 years.

First, everything depends on which country your brother is from or is a citizen of. And second, filing a petition for a sibling takes a minimum of 12 years.
