Case Status Check

Three weeks ago I have filed I-130 for my mom who is in India currently. I got an acknowledgement letter from USCIS with MSC############ number. But when I try to check the status by going to

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

I get this:

"Your case cannot be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

What does this mean? Is it too soon to check the status or what?

Sometimes, it won't appear until you received a mail for biometric. In most cases, I485 and n90 appears faster.
