what happens upon entering the U.S.?

Hello everyone, does anyone know what happens upon entering the US with a Family Based Visa?
I tried searching but all the results are related to non-immigrants.
I want to know things like, what kind of questions would the immigration officer ask? will I have to present any type of documents, too? (Along with my passport OFC)

After you arrive at the airport you will go through Immigration. There are two Lines of people, one for US Citizens and the Other line for all other visa holders. You will wait for your turn in the "Other visa holder" line. After looking at you Visa packet, The immigration officer at the counter will take to you a waiting Room/Hall where other Newcomers like you will be waiting. He or you will hand over the visa packet to another officer in that office. You will wait for your turn. While you are waiting, the immigration officer will open the visa packet. When They call you, they will take your finger print only and you are free to go. They don't ask any question.

And b4 you leave the airport, the IO would affix a stamp in your passport that's valid for a year (sometimes there's an endorsement on the visa in your passport that attests to that) which serves as temp evidence that you're a GC holder as they process the actual GC. It (the GC) would be sent out to you in the mail at the address u furnished on the immigrant visa forms. You should expect to receive it within a few weeks.

You can use that endorsement just as a person holding a physical GC would. It bears the same privileges and responsibilities as the actual GC.
