  • Family unification before citizenship?

Hi! I am a greencard holder and can apply for citizenship this year. I want to bring my parents and little brother who's 18 yo. I heard that I can file for family unification right after applying for citizenship. Is it true? And second question is do I have to file a separate petition to bring my brother here, or are my parents allowed to try to bring him to the US as immediate relative.
    Thanks in advance.

Your can file a immigration visa petition for your parents AFTER you become US citizen. Parents are classified as immediate family members, and it takes less than 1 years for immediate family members to receive visa. You can also file a petition for your brother. Your brother will not receive visa with your parents.
