hi there..

i am new with this forum..

i am a wife of a LPR residing in the Phil. my husband filed our petition on feb of 2012.
a week after he received the receipt with our PD 27Feb2012..

after so, there were no other papers or documents receive from the USCSI ..
it's almost a year after he filed the petition..

do we have to contact them to give us an update on our status or we have to wait when our PD is current?
i can see in some other forums that others complete their cases within a year and they were waiting for their PD to be current to wait for the visa interview schedule..

Certainly you may ask for update but your PD is a long way from being current so you may not hear anything for quite some time.

i am reading some forum and timeline of other.. it is possible that we dont get any reply cAuse other timeline seems that they complete their cases in a year or less.. but then, other's took 2 years..

What service center are u under.. Coz I think you got to check UR priority date basing on your service center ex. California, Vermont or Texas... Priority dates are moving fast right now... And I think you should have gotten UR response by now...

I-130 f2a..out of normal processing time!!!!!

hi everyone,

I am husband of a LPR ...my case of i-130 was filed on june 3,2011,VERMONT SERVICE CENTRE.My priority date is current but my case has not been approved yet...just 2 months ago my wife got a letter asking for request for evidence(RFE)-G325A form.she sent that form filled up but the case again went back to INITIAL REVIEW phase..when we made an inquiry with USCIS,they say my case is out of normal processing time and is currently with an officer and reply would be made within 60 days!!!!!!!!!..........Does anybody has this kind of experience????Is something terrible happening with my case????cases filed much after mine have gone forward i guess but mine is stuck and out of 'NORMAL PROCESSING TIME"......PLEASE give me some good suggestion....any info would be highly appreciated!!!!!!
