  • B2 visas and then I-130

    Hi there guys!

    I have that question..

My parents are permanent residents, with green cards for an year now. They want to sponsor me for immigration visa for a green card.

I fall in the Unmarried Over Aged children (over 21).

I am first going to apply for B2 visa and then they are going to apply the I-130.

Do you see any problem with that and If I get the visa and go there to visit them, what would the proccessing time for adjustment for F2 will be?

    You can't do that.

First, going to US on B2 visa with the intention of immigrating there is illegal.
Second, greencard under F2 takes a long time. Many years. You can't stay in the US for that long on B2 visa.
