I'm over 21 and my father petitioned for me (i130) in 2011. It's still pending. In the mean time I got married. My wife is a U.S citizen. And she is considering to petition for me. Does my father have to cancel the petition he filed before my wife files hers? Or can she file while the first one is still pending? I believe it will take many more years before there is any movement on the first petition. Any help will be appreciated.

No need to cancel the earlier one first. If you wish, you can have both going in parallel to see which one is done first.
