LPR filing for GC for spouse - required forms - pls check

I am filing for GC for my wife and 3-year old son who are living in India. I will be sending (1) Form I-130, (2) Form G255A (for me and wife) and (3) Form G-1145 (for e-mail notification).

I will also be sending copies of supporting documents: my GC, my passport , marriage cert, son's birth certificate, wife's passport, photos of wife and me, $check and cover letter.

Apart from these, do I need to send Affidavit of Support or any other form at this point in time? Since my wife previously had a GC and since I am not spending 100% of my time in the U.S., is it a good idea to give brief case explanation in the cover letter?

You don't need to send affidavit of support now.

As long as you are maintaining your green card, that is all matters. You don't have to clarify more.
