  • joint sponsor must be relative?

I got my interview last month for CR1 visa because my wife is an american citizen and consoler officer give me 212g paper which ask for other joint sponsor. My first joint sponsor had well income but consoler officer asked me if i know this joint sponsor and i said no he is just friend my wife's family.
So, now i got anew joint sponsor who is a friend of my wife's father, and i do't know if they accept him as sponsor.

Is it important for the joint sponsor to be one of my wife relatives to be accepted? Or not

No the joint sponsor doesn't have to be a relative however the relative being the Co sponsor looks better on paper. Just make sure you know who your new Co sponsor is, what's their relationship to your wife (eg family friend/best friend) and a bit more info (eg how long they've known each other etc).

        Thank you aaydrain
        Plz other question
My wife is US citizen but don't live in US, the last time she was in US were 2 years ago when she was pregnent and delivered by our child, she stay there for one year and come back to me.
At the interview consular officer gave me 221g paper which also said " you are being refused under section 212(a)(4) because the petitioner has failed to prove that she has a domicile in the US or intends to domicile.
Please be advised that for US visa purposes, including ESTA, this decision constitutes a denial of a visa"
So for correct domicile my wife and son will go to US this week, she travel to US and rent a department where they live. Is this enough to prove domicile?

Nope. You need to prove a number of these things: that your wife intends to live in the US again and you do that by showing a lease/rental agreement/mortgage, an employment letter from your wife's employer, evidence that your wife is only temporarily living where she is (eg work contract ending), proof your kid(s) are to be enrolled in school, proof you guys will be attending school. Proof of paying bills/making payments on things that would show living in the US (eg car insurance/utilities) might work too.

My wife did not work, she is housewife. so when she arrive to US she will send to me a lease of the department where she will live and will open bank account, and may be electricity bill
            Are these enough?

Maybe because you chose the simple stuff which could lead the embassy officer to ask for more evidence.

                Thank you for your interest
But according to my situation what can i do more? Which evidence may i add?

For your information, my child is 3 years and can't enrolled in school now.
My wife is housewife and didn't work.

The only other thing I can think of is showing evidence as it relates to you since you are the bread winner. So what can your wife submit to show you the husband intends to live in the US with his family? So job/school letter, insurance for your family, show purchase of a car & it's insurance plus the things your wife had already planned on sending. If you can't do that then all you can do submit what you told us here or consult an immigration lawyer.
