F-1 student having problem with Affidavit of Support

Hi everyone my wife and i just started the process for the green-card and our only problem is the Affidavit of support. My usc wife can't meet the income requirement so we found a friend who agreed to be the joint sponsor but even him don't meet the requirement . What can we do ? because we have no one else that we know that makes enough money to sponsor us. so there is no way around this. what can we really do ? and
What if she just got a second job this February, but has no income tax returns or w-2's yet? Do we have to wait? That's why were using the co-sponsor because she just got the second job, but we don't have the income tax forms or w-2's. We have income tax forms for the first job because she's been working there since July of last year. together with the second job she meets the requirement and we won't have to have a co-sponsor
