    Filing for Spouse's GC while waiting for H1B approval

    Hi,

    I am in process of filing my GC. My h1b has expired and my company has filed for extension. My husband is a US citizen.

    When filling my I485, what should I put under Current USCIS Status? Overstay/H1B or something else?
