Can Parents Travel to US on Visitor Visa after filing for their GC

My parents are in India and they have visited me last year. I want to call them again but their trip was reduced to 3 months instead of 6 months. I am planning to file their GC.

Can they still travel on their Visitor Visa ( 10 year multiple entry ) after I file for their GC ?

Yes they can but don't be surprised if they are questioned extensively at the airport or in rare cases sent back. Still most persons who have a visitors visa and a petition filed visit the US without much problem.
