  • Mother and Siblings GC

Hello all, my name is Brenda.

I recently became a US Citizen and I would like to petition for my mother and unmarried under 21 Step-brothers. What would be the fastest way and process to do so; especially for my Siblings?

Thank you all for your help.

You need to need to start petitioning I-130 for your mother which will take between 12 to 18 months to be completed . Step sibling under age of 21 or over 21, If you petition, it will take up to 12 years in some cases 25 years but if your step sibling still under the age of 21 and your mother comes to U.S. she can file I-130 for your under 21 year old sibling which will take up to 3 years to be completed BUT your sibling MUST be under the age of 21 when he/she apply for their immigrant visa at the embassy in your home country.

I agree with her pretty much about age to be 21 but CSPA age can be calculated also. If lets see it takes 1 year for priority date to be approved, your siblings will get 1 more year on top of 21 years of age. Good luck..
