Hi all,
I filed an I-130 for my husband, I am a greencard holder. We received our approval notice. However it says the I-130 petition has been approved but he is not eligible to adjust status. I'm confused because currently the F2A category is Current which means there are visa's available and we should be able to adjust his status. But the letter reads...
"The above petition has been approved. The petition indicated that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. The evidence indicates that he or she is not eligible to file an adjustment of status application. ... Because the person for whom you are petitioning is not eligible to adjust, we have sent the approved petition to the Department of State National Visa Center..."
What does this mean??? Please help. Thank you in advance
