    It's been close to a year since i filed I-751 on behave of my wife and now she filed for divorce so she has really scamed me using I-864 to continue to get support.I don't have the A# to check the status how can i find out if she already has her Green has her Greencard?

    Don't worry about it.

    Even if she gets the green card, she will only get the conditional green card, valid only for 2 years.

    After that, she will need to prove that it was a legitimate marriage and will need your help. At that time, she will not be able to convert into permanent one.

      Sorry immihelp, but you are WRONG! Come on, at least check things out before you post!
      saleem289 said he filed I-751 which is Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence. That means that his wife already had conditional card for 2 years and now she will get a 10 year permanent green card (if the I-751 gets approved). She probably already received her 10 year card anyway, so nothing he can do about it.

        Has there been a court order for you to pay support as the result of your prior I-864? The I-864 sponsorship does not guarantee that the beneficiary will get income from you, though some judges have been giving the I-864 some recognition.

        In answer to your question, however, if you do not show up for her I-751 interview, she will be given option of changing her I-751 status to a "waiver" from joint filing request, or she may be told to submit a new I-751.
