I 485 status "Testing & Interview" on F2A (Spouse & Daughter)

Hi,

I just found the status of my wife & daughter's I 485 changed to "Testing and Interview" as below.

Testing and Interview

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

Is it common? I didn't get this interview or anything when I got my AOS last year. What is this for and what they expect from us for the interview?

I 485 status "Testing & Interview" on F2A (Spouse & Daughter)

It means that USCIS is forwarding your file for an interview at the closet office to you. When they figure out a date they will than send you a letter with the time and date along with a check list on what to bring for the interview.

Also pls take everything you submitted for evidence when you sent in your petitions along with you as well any anything that's considered new proof that you are a united family pictures etc etc. they will ask you to confirm any info you submitted.
