    Hi I just wanted to know is it true next year (2014 ) no US citizen will be able to file a I 130 for their siblings ? I 130 will be only for immediate family(spouse,mother,father and unmarried children of Us citizen) you won't be able to apple for you brother or sister? Thanks

    At first I did not believe this, since I don't follow these types of visas much, but I looked into it and yes it looks like it is possible. BUT it is NOT final yet.
    "There will no longer be an immigrant category for siblings of U.S. citizens, and visas will no longer be available to married sons or daughters of U.S. citizens who are over 30 years of age. These relatives would have to apply under the new point system or find another avenue in order to immigrate. The annual worldwide level of family-based immigrant visas will remain at 480,000 per year, minus the visas assigned to immediate relatives the previous year, but not less than 161,000 per year starting 18 months after enactment."
