Green Card throgh spouse who has a green card

I am a Green Card holder. My wife entered the United States 13 years ago when she was just a little girl with a turist visa and stayed here illegally and now I would like to apply for a Green Card for her. Is it better for me to wait until I get my citizenship or apply right now? And what would be the waiting time for both processes, approximately of course?

DEFINITELY wait until you are a citizen. The day you take the oath, file the I130/I485/I131. I think it takes a few months.

Contact lawyer beforehand because she is illegal, she can be deported and denied greencard even you are citizen or not. She will be ban for life to enter US.
