  • F2A -Applicants Beneficiaries from INDIA...Pls be a part of this thread 2013

    Hi All
Please be a part of this thread if you are the beneficiary of F2a case. My would be wife is a technologist and is in India currently. She is keen to pursue MBA and i wanted to file F2a for her post our registered marriage sometime this year or early next.
What do you think should she apply for her student visa first and then I should apply for her F2a visa ? Does it have any bearing if I apply for her F2a visa first and then she moves on student visa?
We are not married yet though. The petition as i see for F2a has been stuck for 8th Sep 2013...looks scary to me now..Do you anticipate any delays in processing of the application or will there be retrogression ?

    Thanks..people pls share your experiences.

F2A is for married couple. You should not file if you are not married yet. Lots of student visa get rejected and tremendous amount of work needed to get visa. I would get married frst and then file f2A. Its safest route. If you become citizen, then spouse visa is best.
