Hello,
My parents have the Green card interview scheduled at Mumbai (India) consulate on 26th November. Unfortunately, their medical exam will take some time (will get medical back December 20th), due to the TB testing (they have some old scars in the lung). Should they ask for a postponement of the GC interview (with the risk that the new date may be too far away), or should they go to the interview without the medical (knowing that they will get denied)?
I think that if they go and receive 221(g) denial, then the next interview may occur faster, than if they postponed. On the other hand, without the medical exam, they may not even be allowed to see the consular officer, which will be the worst possible scenario. Any recommendations?
