  • my case is F4

    Hello,

my application (i-130)through my brother who is US Citizen has approved on 4 Nov 2013.

currently i am living in Singapore but i am Myanmar Citizen.

I would like to know how long do i need to wait to get non-immigrant visa? I have just received the Approval of Notice letter.

Appreciate if you can advice me how many steps are ahead and how long need to wait reach final stage.

    thanks a lot

The I-130 process is for an "immigrant visa," so it's not clear why you are asking about a "nonimmigrant visa."

Once your I-130 (for a sibling) is approved, it goes to the National Visa Center, where fee and document exchanges take about 6 weeks, after which an appointment package is sent for an interview at Guanzhou (unless this has changed recently). Your brother or you must pay $88 and $230 fees, online, to the National Visa Center (sponsorship processing and visa fee). You will have to obtain an immigrant medical exam before the Guanzhou U.S. Consulate interview. After issuance of your immigrant visa, you will have to pay a $165 Green Card issuance fee to USCIS online.
