I-130 F4 Visa, PLZ PLZ HELP ME

My brother submitted our family (I-130, F4 ) petition on 28th April 2005. Our marital status updated on November 2008, after that in Jan 2012 we received a letter they required Evidences that prove our relation. We have provided all necessary evidence that shows that we are belonging to same Parents; our case has been approved on 20th September 2013.

Now we received a approval letter with our case number and priority date 18 Nov 2008.


1 ) Case submitted 28th April 2005
2 ) Marital Status update on 28th November 2008
3 ) Case Approval on 20 September,2013

My Question is..

Is above priority date is correct as my petition submitted on 28th April 2005?

In your place, I, too, would have expected the Priority Date to be in April 2005. It appears that the Priority Date was changed to reflect your marital status, which should have no bearing on a sibling petition Priority Date.

You should question the Priority Date change directly with USCIS ( start with an INFOPASS at: https://www.immihelp.com/infopass-ap...nt-with-uscis/)
