Two applications Greencard holder

I am a green card holder and i need to petition my spouse and minor child.
Do i have to send two different envelopes with applications or i can send only ONE envelope with two different applications inside ?

If the petitions are clearly separated,m each in its own packet, they can be in the same mailing.

The minor child, however, is eligible for a derivative visa if mom is being petitioned by a Green Card husband, and would not require a separate visa petition.

A Green Card petitioner can submit an I-130 petition, with supporting documents for his wife. A minor child will be automatically eligible for a visa under the umbrella of the spousal petition.

If the petitiioner is a U.S. citizen, or becomes a U.S. citizen during the petition process, the child will have to be petitioned separately with his own I-130.
