  • What documents to file for my spouse.

Hey you all....I am a GREEN CARD holder, my spouse is currently in the US. What other documents do I need to submit when filing the I-130 form?

  • #2
Submit the I-130, $420 fee, copies of both birth and marriage certs, G-325A for each, one passport-style photo each, copies of any divorce docs, photos of you both together and other evidence of ongoing relationship.

Also, include copy of your Green Card.

I already told you: her birth cert copy, her G-325A.

I didn't notice when you said she was in the U.S. I assumed you were petitioning a spouse who is living outside the U.S.

If you are adjusting her status in the U.S., and her expected Priority Date won't be current until your I-130 is approved, what I listed already is all you need to submit with the I-130.

When her Priority Date is current, you'll be submitted a packet of other forms and evidence.
