I kinda procrastinated on this but i just put my spouse name on my checking account and my bank might not be able to generate a statement in time for our green card interview on March 4. Joint account seems to be what my lawyer and everyone we talk to seems to emphasize.
however, we have everything else:
Joint lease for current apt. 2009 - present;
Joint lease for previous apt. 2007-2009;
Utility bill in both our names;
Cable bill in both our names;
3 life insurance policies designating spouse as beneficiary;
Spouse is on my employer sponsored health insurance
5 Expedia itineraries from trips taken together;
All the wedding receipts and photos;
Mail & Christmas cards addressed to both of us; and
8 affidavits from friends & family.
We have plenty?
