Hi,
Me and my daughter got my green-card 2 years(completed 18 months in GC in US) and my daughter is 61/2 years now. I had to move back to India because my father and my father in law both are not well( father in law had stroke and my father had heart problem). I am in india for 10 months now and due to problem i may have to stay for many more years. But my husband continues to stay in US due to financial needs to support the medical expenses and family. I wanted to know if me and my daughter visit once a year for 2 months during summer holiday can we retain our greencards. Also since my husband is in US can we show that tie for being in US. Also while applying for citizenship in another 3 years can apply with my husband or he can only apply for citizenship. Incase he apply for citizenship can we apply for new greencard later again incase we have issues with our green card.
Any advise will be helpful.
