i 130 timeframe for PARENT

Hi everyone, I have recently filed a i 130 for my mother and was wondering if anyone had any idea of the processing time frame?

I looked through some of the threads and what I could find was for spouses, and I know that usually those take much longer due to a more thorough investigation to make sure the marriage is legit; however I could not find any answers regarding the time frame for a parent.

The check was cashed last week for the processing fee so how long am I looking at for any sort of response/notification?

Spouses and parents of U.S. citizens take about the same amount of time.

1. Hardcopy receipt -- 1-2 weeks from receipt by USCIS.
2. I-130 approval, 3-9 months from submittal (this time span has been very volatile last 12 months)
3. Processing by NVC, 6-8 weeks
4. Appointment, about 6 or 7 weeks rom NVC completion.

i 130 timeframe for PARENT

My husband(US citizen) has filed i-130 pettion for me in march.
till now its not approved.
it still shows intial review status .
can you please let me know about your application status
