GC for Father (Coming on Visitor Visa)

Thanks in advance for your time. 2 questions

1. Want to apply for GC for my Father (Age - 68) when he comes to US on Visitor Visa. He is all alone in India and retired. Want to know the process

2. He is a heart patient. After getting GC, how to get health care? Know about the Employment Option (Get him a job somewhere etc..). Any other options??
