Dear All,
I have been living in Canada (Born in India and now Canadian Citizen) for over 10 years now. My brother has been US Citizen for years and had been asking me to immigrate to USA, he would sponsor me and my family under H4 category.
My question is does it make any difference in processing time due to the fact that I am now Canadian Citizen or it goes by Country of Birth? Is there any specific form depending on your country of Citizenship?
What is typical processing time from start to finish that is approval and issuance of Green card? I understand that each case is different and will have different timing but just wanted to know rough estimates.
Can I still visit USA for vacation, shopping etc...while my F4 application is in process?
More importantly, can I apply for H1B (off-course, pending finding an employer) or even TN visa while my family based application is in process??
