  • can my mother in law be a sponsor for my mom?

Hello, my family is coming to USA for the summer , and once they come I want apply all documents needed for my mom to get a green card while she is here. I am an American citizen, my question is what documents my mom has to bring from Russia , and how much is my income has to be to be able to sponsor my mom and later my father. If my income is not high enough can my mother in law be a sponsor for my parents? Thank you a lot

Anyone who is 21 or older, has U.S. citizenship or Green Card status, and can meet the income and income tax filing requirements can be a joint sponsor. You must still be the primary sponsor.
