Green Card for wife now then later for kids cause problems?

Wanted to ask for anyone with experience on this.

Will getting my wife her green card through spouse marriage first then months later her children. Will it cause problems in getting her children green cards?

Currently her children live in her native country with her grandmother. So i don't think we can apply for them or can we?

After you are married to the mother, you can submit I-130 petitions, as the stepfather (if you are a U.S. citizen), for the children.

We have been married for qui2 sometime. Was curios If it makes the process any more difficult if i get gc for wife now and step children much later?

Or can i apply for all at once even though step children do not live with us?

Is it better to wait till they live with us?

You can apply for children's visas for the children anytime, so long as they did not turn 18 before you married. IF they turned 18 before you married their mother, the mother has to petition them.
