F3 Family based visa processing Query

My in laws are living in Kent WA and my father in law have applied for F3 visa 3rd preference family visa of my wife along with mine and our two childrens priority date of my wife 15.03.2004 where as our marriage took place in 06.08.2006 then after change of category mine is also added and then my son and now my daughter as the dates nearing become current we observed that mine place of birth on my passport is wrong it is written as Ludhiana but my birth place is of Hapur Uttar Pradesh India to which the birth certificate is issued we have given the copy of birth certificate and passport in US while adding my immigration to of mine wife's

now i want to know that whether it make any difference as indian passport office are not ready to change the place of birth as it cant be changed in any case, please guide me in this regard as it can affect my application as primary applicant is my wife and i am derivative to it

Where did you apply for passport. Did you give the wrong place of birth to passport office OR pp office made a mistake. If they made the mistake, they will fix it.
