Hi All,
The instructions for form I-824(follow to join form) say that I need to submit a copy of previously approved application or petition. For me that was my I-485 application. I don't have a copy of my I-485. However, I do have a soft copy of the form. My attorney made a modification on the hard copy of the form, which I sent to USCIS. That modification is not on the soft copy. I also don't remember the date I signed the hard copy. So the best I can do is submit the soft copy version of I-485. My question is if that version will be acceptable? I did get my green card so I can attach a copy of my GC with it. Also, for follow to join do they require just a copy form I-485 or the entire application with all supporting documents I sent when I applied for adjustment of status?I will really appreciate any help on this matter.
